Numerous restaurants and businesses are offering Veterans Day freebies and discounts for all Veterans and Active Duty Military members.
The following is a list of offers in the Central Florida area as compiled by News 13 and the Coupon Wizard website:
Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo will offer free admission to military veterans and active-duty service members Friday through Monday, Nov. 8 to 11. The Zoo will also provide free admission to spouses in the event the active-duty service member is deployed overseas. Please note, Brevard Zoo will close early Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 p.m. to prepare for JAZZOO. Paws On will close at 3 p.m. The last admission Saturday, Nov. 9 is 2:30 p.m. Proof of military service is required for free admission. Accepted identification includes U.S. Uniform Services Card (active/reserve/retired), Current Leave and Earning Statement, Veteran Identification card, Veteran’s Organization Card (American Legion, VFW, etc.), a photograph in uniform, wearing a uniform or DD214.
Legoland Florida
Legoland Florida is saluting U.S Military Veterans with free admission during their United States Armed Forces appreciation days Nov. 1-17, 2013. Click here for more information.
Great Clips
Customers who come in for a haircut at any U.S. Great Clips salon on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 will receive a free haircut card to give to an active/inactive/retired military member of any branch, including the National Guard. Military members can also come in on Veterans Day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of service, any day before Dec. 31, 2013. Click here for more information

All Veterans and Active Duty Military can stop by your local California Pizza Kitchen on November 11 and you can get a free pizza and non-alcoholic beverage when you dine-in. Be sure to come in uniform or bring your military ID or another proof of service.
