Two people were taken to Brevard County hospitals after being hurt on a Norwegian cruise ship.

The Norwegian Breakaway docked at Port Canaveral around noon Tuesday and officials said two waiting helicopters had arrived to take the patients away.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, a woman in her 70s suffered a fracture.

Port Canaveral officials said something fell on a crew member’s head. He was transported to the hospital with a neck injury.

It's unclear when both incidents happened.

New Jersey's Todd Reilley is traveling with his wife, son, mother-in-law, niece and nephew. He saw paramedics treating the female passenger near one of the ship's pools.

"It was under control. It wasn't bad. It wasn't chaos," Reilley said.

Pam Shenloogian and her husband disembarked from the ship for an excursion.

"Saw the ambulance, somebody they loaded up and closed the door," Shenloogian said.

It’s unclear if rough seas played a role in these incidents.

The ship is set to leave Port Canaveral at 9 p.m.

The Norwegian Breakaway began docking at the port a few weeks ago.

On Tuesday afternoon, Norwegian Cruise Line issued the following statement:

A guest and a crew member were debarked in unrelated non-emergency incidents today in Port Canaveral. Both were taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
