An attempt to set a world record is also calling attention to hungry kids in the community.

Kavaliro and Press on Events hosted the "Fueling the Community" event to promote its quarterly food drive.

They built a peanut butter tower that topped ten feet and broke a Guinness World Record, beating the current record of 9 feet, 10 inches.

All the peanut butter was donated to Seminole County's backpack program.

Organizers said it would take four to six weeks for Guinness to make the ruling.
