It was a hot end to the weekend with high temperatures Sunday afternoon in the low 90s inland and upper 80s along the coast.

We had only a few showers develop as the east coast sea breeze set up early and moved quickly west.

Some heavier rain did develop off the coast of Brevard County Sunday morning were two waterspouts were spotted. Rain chances stay low Monday before increasing Tuesday.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours with lows falling into the low 70s. Winds out of the east will diminish slightly, but a stray coastal shower will still be possible as we head toward daybreak on Monday.

Monday will bring partly sunny skies and a 30% chance of showers and storms in the afternoon. Expect highs to be in the low 90s again.

Over the next few days, temperatures will remain in the low 90s and the chance of rain will remain. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring the highest chance of showers and storms in the afternoon. Overnight, we can expect lows to remain in the lower 70s.

The tropics remain quiet, and there is no expected development over the next five days.
