A 23-year-old man has been arrested in a quadruple stabbing- one fatal - at a home in Apopka early Sunday, authorities said.

Just before 4 a.m., Orange County sheriff's deputies responded to a home on Apollo Drive, near Thor Avenue, and found four people with stab wounds.

Marcos Alvarez-Jiminez, 22, was transported to Apopka Hospital, where he died soon after from his injuries. Two women and another man were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, deputies said.

Daniel Leija is charged with one count of first degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Deputies said the names of the other victims are not being released at this time. They are expected to recover, according to deputies. They say the suspect is known to the victims.

Homicide investigators are trying to determine what led to the stabbings.
